Bonuses are the loudest thing on any gaming lobby and the least understood. This page separates the three different things Raja Luck calls a "bonus", the welcome offer, the promo or invite code, and the referral programme, and explains what each is actually worth once the conditions are applied.

The one concept that makes bonuses make sense

Your wallet holds two kinds of balance and the interface does not always make the distinction obvious.

Cash balance is money you deposited or won. It can be withdrawn subject to the ordinary payout rules.

Bonus balance is promotional credit. It can be staked, but it cannot be withdrawn until a wagering condition is met, typically that the bonus amount has been turned over some multiple of times in qualifying games. Until then, the app may show a healthy total while the withdrawable figure is much smaller.

Every complaint that starts "they will not let me withdraw my bonus" ends here. The condition was in the terms; nobody read them. Before you accept any offer, find three numbers: the wagering multiple, the games that count toward it (prediction rounds and live tables often contribute at different rates, or not at all), and the expiry window. If those three are not visible, decline the offer and play with plain cash, you will be better off.

The welcome offer

New accounts are normally shown a first-deposit offer. The shape varies with whatever campaign is live: a percentage match on the first deposit, a small no-deposit credit, or a bundle spread across the first few deposits.

Do not plan around a specific percentage you read somewhere. These campaigns rotate, and the figure on your own promotions screen at the moment you deposit is the only accurate one. What stays constant is the structure, a match with a turnover requirement, and the trade-off that follows from it.

That trade-off is worth stating plainly. Accepting a match means a bigger opening balance and a commitment to stake a multiple of the bonus before any of it converts. Invite codes at registration

The invitation field on the sign-up form is optional and one-shot. It accepts another player's code and sometimes unlocks a small extra new-user credit for you as well as crediting them.

Three practical notes. Codes are case-sensitive and often arrive from chat apps with an invisible trailing space, so retype rather than paste if it is rejected. Be sceptical of "free bonus codes" listed on aggregator sites. Most are expired, region-locked, or simply someone's referral code dressed up as a promotion. A code from a person you know is worth trying. A code from a site that wants you to complete a survey first is not.

The referral programme

Refer & Earn lives in your profile and gives you a personal link and code. When someone registers with it, deposits and plays a qualifying volume, a share of that activity credits back to you.

Two honest observations about referrals. First, this is the only part of the platform where the maths is not tilted against you, you are being paid a commission rather than staking into an edge. Second, that is exactly why you should be careful with it: the money comes from your friends' losses, and pushing a code at people who cannot afford the play is a good way to end up with fewer friends.

Reading the terms in ninety seconds

• Wagering multiple. How many times the bonus must be staked. Anything at the high end makes conversion improbable.
• Game weighting. Which games count, and at what rate. Live tables commonly contribute less than prediction rounds.
• Maximum bet while a bonus is active. Exceed it and the bonus can be voided outright.
• Expiry. Unmet conditions at the deadline usually forfeit the credit.
• Maximum conversion. Some offers cap what the bonus can ever become, regardless of how well it runs.
• One per person, household, device and payment method. Duplicate accounts to claim twice is the fastest way to lose a balance.
